Number Eighteeen
This is a
story in multiple parts. We created the video at the
time of the installation of a wind tower in Kittery,
Maine. And we are posting it at the time of the
announced removal of the same tower. Apparently the
install did not produce power at the rate desired or
needed. It points to the fact that we need real
energy, not just the promise of it. The US had been
dubbed as “The Saudi Arabia of wind.” No doubt some
visionary Arabs have dropped a proverbial well to
find lots of sand. Isn’t that one of Lawrence of
Arabia’s lessons? There’s great promise in the wind,
but that doesn’t mean we simply raise a tower.
Solutions mean they work.
