Sometimes the
next big thing really is a big thing. And this solar
storage device from Thermal Storage
Solutions is as
exciting a solution as it is big. We visited with
the SEA Solar
Store’s, Jack
Bingham, who scooped us on the first install in
the world. Imagine using the heat of the summer to
create a mass of enough heat that it can be used
to heat a New England (or other cold climate)
building in the winter. While Fall and Winter sun
offer some additional BTU’s the bulk are stored
when you’ve got an abundance of sunlight. Now
that’s as cool as it is hot.
